A journalist and biblical prophecy teacher doesn't think evangelical Christians should take part in talk-show icon Glenn Beck's "Restoring Courage" rally in Jerusalem this summer.
Beck explains on his website that the event will be similar to last summer's "Restore Honor" rally in Washington, DC, which drew hundreds of thousands of people to the nation's capital. He says, "It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world."

Pastor Paula White and Donald Trump are teaming up to host a private meeting with Christian leaders in New York this week.The Thursday meeting has been billed as a “time of dialogue & leadership with Mr. Trump,” who is seriously considering a run for the presidency in the 2012 election.Details of the meeting could not be confirmed. Multiple calls to Paula White Ministries were not returned.
One of the invitees, however, to the meeting is Brian McLaren, a popular Christian author who is considered part of the controversial emerging church camp.
McClaren posted the invitation he received on his blog last week. It reads: “Pastor Paula along with Mr. Donald Trump would like to extend a special invitation to Brian McLaren for a time of dialogue & leadership meeting with Mr. Trump. This private meeting will take place on Thursday, May 12th, 5:30pm at Trump Tower in NYC.”
The author – surprised by both the invitation and the meeting itself – declined the invite “due to cost of travel” and has thus not confirmed details such as attendees or topics that will be discussed. But he predicts the meeting is an attempt by Trump to reach out to Christians before his expected announcement in June on whether he’ll launch a presidential bid as a Republican.

Normally, one would react to a UN resolution giving goddess Mother Earth the same rights as humans with a yawn. But Morales, his Green supporters, fellow globalists, believers in liberation theology and the Marxist dialectic take the resolution quite seriously, as the UN is seen as an international vehicle for accomplishing goals long in the making.
One would suppose the UN would be committed to cultural and religious diversity, eschewing the establishment of a global religion, given the fact it has representatives from countries around the world. But as it turns out, the UN has long had an interest in a global government and universal religion.
In probably every century since the death of Christ, Christians could marshal arguments that their generation comprised the end times prior to Christ’s return. Of course, such arguments were wrong. Still today, many Christians are convinced we are approaching the rapture and the Second Coming of Christ. As Hal Lindsey has emphasized on his television show, the time seems to be short: “We [the US] could fall and be forced into a one world government and economy tomorrow… All of this has made the possibility of the Antichrist making his appearance an event that can happen in weeks or days, not months or years… As never before in world history, world conditions are set up perfectly for all of this to take place in literally a matter of days.” And, “The Antichrist could appear at any moment.” (The Hal Lindsey Report May 7, 2010)
