Muslims react with violence to new president

Mass graves are reportedly being filled with Christians after new violence in Northern Nigeria, which directly relates to the election of a new president.

After a Christian named Goodluck Jonathan was elected president, Muslims in the northern part of the country openly attacked Christians. Jonathan Rocha of International Christian Concern reports that they are only now learning the extent of the destruction.

Beck's Jerusalem conference denounced

A journalist and biblical prophecy teacher doesn't think evangelical Christians should take part in talk-show icon Glenn Beck's "Restoring Courage" rally in Jerusalem this summer.

Beck explains on his website that the event will be similar to last summer's "Restore Honor" rally in Washington, DC, which drew hundreds of thousands of people to the nation's capital. He says, "It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world."

How the Apostles Died

They knew who Jesus was and they died horrible deaths for it.

1

Matthew

Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound.

2

Mark

Died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by

Horses through the streets until he was dead.

3

Luke

Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous

Preaching to the lost.

4

John

Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge

Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution

In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered

From death.

John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison

Island of Patmos .

He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos.

The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve

As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey.

He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully.

5

Peter

He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross.

According to church tradition it was because

He told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die

In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6

James

The leader of the church in Jerusalem, was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club.

* This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken

Jesus during the Temptation.

7

James the Great

Son of Zebedee, was a fisherman by trade when Jesus

Called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was ultimately beheaded at Jerusalem.

The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer

Walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and

Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8

Bartholomew

Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to Asia.

He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey.

Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in

Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9

Andrew

Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece.

After being whipped severely by seven soldiers theytied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour.

The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired.

10

Thomas

Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the sub-continent

11

Jude

Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12

Matthias

The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

13

Paul

Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here

Are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution

And cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples

during their times for the sake of the Faith.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:

But he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 10:22

False Teacher T.D. Jakes defends Obama’s salvation….

In the movie Kill Bill, whenever Uma Thurman would hear or see one of the people who had attempted to kill her, an alarm would go off in her head. Unfortunately, I experience the same alarm every time I hear T.D. Jakes open his lying mouth. GCMwatch documented my last alarm in a post here. Jakes lied to a Muslim woman and told her she would go to heaven even if she didn’t believe in Jesus Christ.

The good thing about False Teachers? They always identify themselves. But, one can only know the difference between right and wrong by knowing the difference between right and wrong (the bible). The bad thing about false teachers? They are very skilled at keeping up a false guise of Christianity, and very good at duping so called Christians.

Understand The Times, International: From the Truth To Strong Delusion

Many have asked the question: how is it possible that End Times apostasy can sweep the world so quickly in these Last Days and so few see that it is happening? There is only one way to understand this phenomenon. The Bible foretells this would happen (Matthew 24: 3-4). Now that we are witnessing End Times spiritual deception fewer and fewer Bible professing Christians see what is taking place.

When discerning believers confront their pastors or church leaders about the apostasy happening in their churches where they have worshiped for many years, they are often told to leave and go somewhere else. This “get out or shut up” attitude is common and follows a pattern. The teaching of the Word and the love of God once in fellowships of believers has got up and gone. How sad it is to see what is happening to the church of Jesus Christ in our time.

Paula White, Donald Trump, and Brian McLaren?

News broke today that Donald Trump has decided against running for President, but that doesn’t mean the contents of the following article has no merit.

Paula White and Donald Trump have a rapport, that’s no secret.  But, according to this article, White and Trump teamed up to host a private meeting with Christian leaders, and among them was Brian McLaren.  There’s one problem, Brian McLaren is not Christian … he’s far from it.  He has contradicted and undermined God’s Word to a point where it can never be said that he represents Biblical Christianity.
There’s still no word on what the meeting called by White and Trump was truly about, but seeing as how Trump announced today that he has no plans to run for President, it’s anyone’s guess.

Donald Trump, Paula White Rallying Christian Support?

Pastor Paula White and Donald Trump are teaming up to host a private meeting with Christian leaders in New York this week.
The Thursday meeting has been billed as a “time of dialogue & leadership with Mr. Trump,” who is seriously considering a run for the presidency in the 2012 election.
Details of the meeting could not be confirmed. Multiple calls to Paula White Ministries were not returned.
One of the invitees, however, to the meeting is Brian McLaren, a popular Christian author who is considered part of the controversial emerging church camp.
McClaren posted the invitation he received on his blog last week. It reads: “Pastor Paula along with Mr. Donald Trump would like to extend a special invitation to Brian McLaren for a time of dialogue & leadership meeting with Mr. Trump. This private meeting will take place on Thursday, May 12th, 5:30pm at Trump Tower in NYC.”
The author – surprised by both the invitation and the meeting itself – declined the invite “due to cost of travel” and has thus not confirmed details such as attendees or topics that will be discussed. But he predicts the meeting is an attempt by Trump to reach out to Christians before his expected announcement in June on whether he’ll launch a presidential bid as a Republican.

Liberalism is Dishonorable

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.
Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. (2 tim 3:1-7)

The Church Visible Cannot Say It hasn’t Been Warned
[I]n religion, they are paradoxists; contradictories can be mutually affirmed. And everybody smiles while they are doing it… This is the pursuit of intellectual suicide and the symptoms of spiritual madness.
It is the blinding of the eye by Satan and it a symptom of the spiritual death of the soul. We have liberal theology which tells us, as {Mormon apologist] Van Hale did today, “We really don’t have to worry the concept of God at all; I mean, this is an evolving concept. It goes on and on and on.”

Worship the God of Scripture

I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word…
Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” (Psalm 138:2; Jeremiah 6:16)
The Truth Of God Is As Living And Active As God Himself Is
For online apologetics and discernment works like Apprising Ministries it’s quite common today to hear those caught up in the fickle fantasies of man-centered evangelicalism and the neo-liberal cult within the Emerging Church ask us things like, “Why do you constantly quote dead men?” Well, the answer is really quite simple: These men are more alive now than the “dead” men currently being followed by so many today on the long and broad road to nowhere.
The fact is that there are so many leaders within what is passing for Christianity today such as Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren and/or Living Spiritual Teacher and EC guru Brian McLaren, one of the unholy Emergent Church trinity of apostates along with universalist Emerging Church pastor Doug Pagitt, and his friend Tony Jones—the progressive “theologian in residence” at Pagitt’s Emergent Solomon’s Porch, who put far more emphasis on what other men are now saying than they do upon what the LORD God Almighty Himself has already said.

Dollar in graver danger than the euro

Imagine a country that spends and prints trillions to patch up any problem.
Now imagine another country where there is no central Treasury, meaning that bail-outs are less easy, and which has a central bank that has mopped up liquidity over the past year, rather than engage in quantitative easing.
Think of it this way: in the US, Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke has testified that going off the gold standard during the Great Depression helped the US recover faster than other countries. Fast-forward to today: we believe Bernanke embraces a weaker currency as a monetary policy tool to help address the current state of the US economy. What many overlook is that someone must be on the other side of that trade: today it is the eurozone, which is experiencing a strong currency, despite the many challenges in the 17-nation bloc.

Egypt: Muslim mob attacks Christians...churches burned (OneNewsNow.com)

CAIRO - Egypt's military rulers have reacted swiftly to attempts to burn down a pair of churches in a Cairo slum during sectarian riots that killed 10 people by referring 190 people to military trial.

Mobs of ultraconservative Muslims from the Salafi religious trend converged on a church in the Cairo slum of Imbaba late Saturday following rumors of an interfaith romance.

Christians barricaded themselves inside and around the church and the demonstrations turned violent. Witnesses said people on rooftops fired into the crowd.

The military said the mass arrests were to deter people from threatening the nation's security. Military trials are notorious for their speed.

At least six of the dead were Muslims.

Pakistani Christians facing false, deadly accusation (OneNewsNow.com)

Christians in Pakistan recently fled when a Muslim mob attacked a seminary and accused believers of desecrating the Quran.

Roughly 4,000 Muslims recently attacked a Presbyterian seminary in Gujranwala and compelled 3,000 believers to flee the area. Pastor Eric Issac, who oversees a local Presbyterian church, was also arrested and falsely accused of burning the Quran.

The Muslim Brotherhood opposition group in Egypt has called for a review of the 1978 peace treaty between Egypt and Israel and says it should be resubmitted to a “freely elected” parliament for approval.
Regarded as the best-organised political group in Egypt, the Brotherhood is poised to play an influential role in politics in the country after the fall of the regime of Hosni Mubarak, the former president.

Peace prospects hurt by Fatah, Hamas pact | NewsOK.com

CAIRO — Rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas signed a landmark reconciliation pact on Wednesday, ending a four-year rift that had divided the territory envisioned for a future Palestinian state. The deal plunged Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking deeper into uncertainty as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it a “mortal blow to peace.”

The agreement, which followed years of bitter acrimony between the two Palestinian movements, was made possible in large measure by the political changes sweeping the Arab world and the deadlock in U.S.-brokered peace talks with Israel.

Google and Government: A Threat to Your Privacy

News that Android and Apple phone communicate collect data on your personal information reveal much about the two companies and their views of the consumer.
Upon the release of the news, Steve Jobs took to the microphone denying Apple products track users calling such accusations “false.”  Emails leaked to the Mercury News tell a different story about Google.  “I cannot stress enough how important Google’s wifi location database is to our Android and mobile product strategy,” Google location service product manager Steve Lee wrote. “We absolutely do care about this (decision by Motorola) because we need wifi data collection in order to maintain and improve our wifi location service.”

ON THE FEAR OF GOD

Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. (Psalm 36:1)
The Fear Of The Lord Is The Beginning Of Knowledge
Did you know that God the Holy Spirit felt that this bit of instruction was so important that He would inspire the Apostle Paul to quote it again in Romans 3:18? Obviously the attitude of “fearing” God is so important to the believer’s understanding about our Lord that it needs to be reiterated. And yet the question that lies before us is: Does the increasingly seeker sensitive evangelical community in this timid generation actually heed the call to fear the Lord anymore?
It pains me to share this with you, but anyone who loves Jesus and His Church, and has any amount of discernment can’t help but see the drift into a New Downgrade. Who could possibly deny that large sections of the the evangelical community here in postmodern America, as well as world-wide, have lost much of that fear of God right before our very eyes. Truly we are witnessing a falling away that’s taking place in our midst as this apostasy continues to spread.

Unity in the Body of Christ

Therefore, we also from the day which we heard, do not cease praying for you and asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, to walk worthy of the Lord in every way pleasing to Him in every good work bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of God. (a direct translation of Colossians 1:9-10 from the NA27 Greek text)

It seems my life has become a continuous series of tests and trials, putting me into places of contention in which it is clearly apparent to me that the way I have gone before is not how God would have me go and be walking worthy of the Lord in every way pleasing to Him in every good work bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of God. Of course, the reason this is clearly apparent to me is that the part of me that is under the spotlight is my pride. I can act like those around me in arrogant, self-protection or I can, in the power of the Holy Spirit, deny self and μετὰ πάσης ταπεινοφροσύνης καὶ πραΰτητος, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, seek to ἀνέχομαι, forebear with those with whom I in contention ἐν ἀγάπῃ, in love. Of course, I have paraphrased Ephesians 4:2, which is actually about unity within the Body of Christ. However, I am convinced that we must also apply the same forbearance to everyone while never compromising by unifying with those who are not true Christians.

The Shack author on Music Boat gig with Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, MercyMe

Despite his rejection of the Penal Substitutionary Atonement of Christ (HERE), Paul Young, author of The Shack, continues his ascension as messenger of healing unto the Body of Christ. Is this wrong? Yes, it is. The Shack brings a different Jesus, and thus a very different gospel.

Nevertheless, the author will be part of the popular Premier Christian Cruises extravaganza, The Music Boat Cruise, which leaves Florida for Cozumel, Mexico on November 7. He is part of an entertainment lineup featuring Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, MercyMe, Jaci Velasquez, and others. There is, of course, a Christian Bookstore on the cruise ship, and it is likely many books will be sold.

Know Your Enemy (Part 76 - The Emerging Church - Road To The One World R...

Part 76 - Narrator Mark Fairley exposes leaders in the emergent "church" for the wolves they really are.

This is part 76 in a series of videos exposing satan and his plan throughout the ages. He explains how satan has used the "emergent church", mormons, the UN, the EU, the freemasons, illuminati, the catholic church, jesuits, islam, nimrod, etc. from the tower of babel until now to carry out his agenda.
